Who?

The training is open for 20 participants:

• CINEFOGO WP Spread of Excellence (SoE) Responsibles,
• Members of related projects and networks in the field of civil society and governance,
  
• Interested stakeholders: policy makers, representatives of NGOs, European citizens interested in civil society, governance or social capital issues
  

What?

The pilot 4-day interactive training on communication and dissemination will make participants more familiar with following questions:

• Who are the stakeholders for dissemination of research outcomes in the field of civil society, governance and European citizenship?
• How to reach the stakeholders?
• From research paper to policy paper, policy brief, policy memorandum or policy issue paper: How to transform research papers into documents that policymakers will understand and use?
• Events, press releases, newsletters, web sites: How can I let wider public know about my research?
• How and why should I organize debates, round tables, workshops?
• How do journalists work?
• How do I get in the news and how do I get out the news?
• How can I broaden my network?
• How do I get political attention?
• Rhetoric: how can I become a better speaker?
  

What are the costs?

• There is no training fee.
• Accommodation for September 23-27 (four nights) will be free of charge.
• Participants will pay for their travel costs.
